So sorry for all you out there who were completely confused about Fred and Debbie's little girl's name and weight.  I changed it now to the correct information.  I knew her name was Heather, not sure where Hannah came from.  Anyways, now you all know Miss Heather has an Aunt who is not perfect.    By the way, Mom, Dad, baby, and Grandma are doing great.  Aunt Cheryl's not so great, because she wants to be
in Ohio holding Miss Heather about right now.

Have a great day!

It's A Girl!

Congratulations to my sister and brother-in-law, Fred and Debbie on the birth of your beautiful baby girl!

Heather Nicole Byler

6 lb. 2 oz.

19" long

I'm so happy for both of you and blessings as you raise her to serve Jesus.  We love you.

Hello to all my xanga friends again.  Hope all is well for all of you.  I usually try and post pics of our family when I update, but we have dial-up, so I'll pass for now.  It is so slow.  It's been so long since I updated, so I will let you in on some of the things that have been going on in our family over the last months.
In May Neil's brother, Dwayne, Chris and family, came to visit us for around a week.  We had fun with them and we also got a deck built out the back of our house with their help.  We have enjoyed it immensely, especially when we have company.
This summer, we were in Westcliffe quite a bit, living in the basement of some of our friends while Neil was working on the upstairs of their house.  Was fun to be with our Westcliffe friends.
In July, we had a week's visit with our other little girl, Elizabeth, .  We picked her up from the hospital three years ago when we were houseparents and have stayed in touch with her and her family since she has gone to live with them.  She is so much a part of our hearts and our family.
In August, we went back to Ohio and were with my sister and her husband, Fred & Debbie Byler.  My mom also came up to be with us there too.  We had a great time together.  We also were able to visit Lavon and Maria Kauffman (one of our former nannies) and their beautiful baby girl, Marissa Elizabeth.  Maria was the nanny to Elizabeth.  We also spent some time with Neil's Uncle and Aunt, Jesse and Mary Burkholder and family and another Aunt, Sara and cousin, Lucy.  While we were in Ohio, we were able to celebrate my sister's 30th b-day party with folks from her area.  It was fun surprising her.  We also went to Dennis and Shaunna's wedding when we were back there.  They were married in Michigan and had one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to.  Blessings to you guys - love ya tons!
In September, Davie and Julie, were married which brought out of state folks.  We were privileged to have our friends, Marvin and Carolyn Beiler, Paul and Silla Beiler, and Billy, Barbara, and Bethany Stoll as overnight guests different nights.  Had a great time Friday evening with all of them and some local friends for a cookout.
Neil cooked for the Westcliffe Church on Labor Day.  We had a good time hanging out with them.
We have had a great Summer going camping with our little family and enjoying the outdoors immensely.  It's been busy, but it's been good.
Hope all of you have a great week and remember that Jesus loves you the most!!  ~Cheryl

A bit of an update on the happenings in our family.

Christopher having a great 4th birthday!

Lavon & Maria Kauffman came for a visit in March, and it was
great to be with them again.  Maria used to be one of our nannies
at NHM and cared for Elizabeth (the little gal Lavon is holding).
It was great to spend time with Elizabeth again also.

Neil with "his" little girl (Elizabeth) ~
drinking a smoothie together.

A great family day at the Pueblo Zoo.

We went back to Ohio to Fred & Debbie's place
and had an absolutely wonderful time there.
Mom came up from GA which was so very special!
We had Chinese together one day.  Mom & Debbie,
ya'll are very special to my heart.  Thanks so much
for your love and the sweet spirit both of you have.

 ~ Wendy & Hannah's farewell ~
It's been wonderful having you girls around and
we're going to miss ya'll so much.  Thanks tons for
your friendship.  Blessings to both of you as you
continue to serve God.

Have a wonderful day!  ~Cheryl

Here are a few pictures of our lives over the past month or so.

Cami's 5th birthday.  I did a princess theme for her birthday,
and she was thrilled.  We had her little girlfriends over, and
they were dressed up like beautiful little princesses.

We recently went to see Elizabeth and Angelina and
their family.  We had so much fun, but it made
Neil miss Elizabeth even more.  Neil definitely has
a huge spot in his heart for this little girl.

Our good friend, Patrick Beiler, from Georgia was here
for a week to spend time with our family, and we thoroughly
enjoyed having him around - especially Cami - she has herself
a new boyfriend.  She loved being with him, holding his hand and
walking with him when we were sightseeing.  Thanks Pat for
a great time of remembering old times, making new memories,
praying together, and just having a great time catching up.  Thanks
for all you did with the children also.

Patrick took Neil & I out for dinner to Colorado Springs
to a great Chinese restaurant called PF Chang's.  It was a
very nice atmosphere and the food was fabulous.  Dennis,
the lettuce wraps are excellent.    Mom, it's a must for
you and I the next time you come out.

One of our former nannies, Sarah Miller, was here for a
visit to see Christopher, the little guy she used to care for.
Sarah, thanks for the fishing game you brought - it is definitely
a hit.  Thanks for all the time and effort you put into
Christopher's life and are still doing.

Have a wonderful day to all of you!  ~Cheryl
